To impart higher education at undergraduate and post graduate levels in the field of Forestry & Wildlife Management. To identify constraints and conduct research on issues related to forest, wildlife & pasture / rangelands resources of Sub-humid and humid regions. Establish effective linkages with the provincial, national and international agencies; NGO’s and CBO’s involved in Reserch & Development. Generate, acquire and maintain information / database related to forest, wildlife & pasture / rangelands resources in Sub-humid and humid regions, and its dissemination to the potential users in public/ private sectors and farmers. To supervise post graduate students in planning, conduct, and evaluation of thesis research as part of their degree programme.
