Stalls at STARTUP HANGAMA by Studentpreneurs of University of Haripur

Wednesday, 12th January 2016 marked the start of a great entrepreneurial tradition among UOH family. A total of 62 stalls were on display to highlight the effectuation based startups of budding entrepreneurs of BBA VIIA (Mgt. Sci.) and BCS VII (IT) under the guidance of Mr. Imran Qadir, Lecturer (Focal Person Entrepreneurship & Business Incubation), Department of Management Sciences, University of Haripur.

This event was an end result of a series of mile stones achieved during the semester in Entrepreneurship subject like:

  • Exploring Bird in Hand
  • Realizing business opportunities
  • Taking action
  • Being creative/innovative
  • Building brands
  • Developing business models

Effectuation based entrepreneurial endeavors stand on five strong foundations namely:

  • The Bird in Hand principle
  • The Affordable Loss principle
  • The Lemonade principle
  • The Patchwork Quilt principle
  • The Pilot in the Plane principle

Entrepreneurs are change agents who add value to community at large which job seekers can’t possibly imagine.
