BS (Hons) Forestry & Wildlife Management Degree Programme of University of Haripur Accredited by National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) of Pakistan

Inspection Committee of National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) of Pakistan has accorded accreditation to the BS (Hons) Forestry and Wildlife Management Degree Program of University of Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Committee conducted inspection of the said degree programme on March 16, 2017 and approved it for accreditation.

The BS (Hons) Forestry and Wildlife Management degree program of University of Haripur is a unique and distinct programme in Pakistan under which integrated course of Forestry and Wildlife Management is offered leading to BS (Hons) Degree (4 years).

The Department of Forestry and Wildlife Management University of Haripur now enjoys a distinct status in the country for its unique degree. The graduates from the University will equally qualify for jobs in Forest as well as Wildlife Departments, besides NGOs.

Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz Malik, Advisor and Dr. Mohammad Salim Head of Department have expressed thanks to the Accreditation Committee, Dr. Abid Fareed Vice Chancellor University of Haripur and Dr. Tallat, Director Quality Enhancement Cell University of Haripur for their lead and useful role in accreditation process.

It may be added that Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz Malik former Chief Conservator Wildlife Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is now associated with University of Haripur as Advisor and he played a key role in developing Forestry and Wildlife Management Programme at the University. Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz Malik has urged upon the parents to guide their children to consider seeking admission in the BS (Hons) Forestry and Wildlife Management Programme of University of Haripur for a better and dignified career, because this programme has a much wider scope and application than many other degrees.
