My research interests include corporate and product life cycle assessment, carbon footprinting, climate change, environmental biology and ecotoxicology, conservation biology, medicinal plants, ecological niche modelling and carbon stock assessment.  

1: Greenhouse gas emissions from production chain of a cigarette manufacturing industry in Pakistan. (Published in Environmental Research, Impact Factor 3.95).

2: An ethnobotanical survey of indigenous medicinal plants in Wana district South Waziristan Agency, Pakistan (Published in Journal of Ethnopharmacology, Impact Factor 2.93).

3: Status of heavy metal residues in fish species of Pakistan (Published in Reviews of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology, Impact Factor 4.13).

4: Estimation of nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide emissions from synthetic fertilizers applied by tobacco growers in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan (Orally presented in the 4th International and 13th National conference of Botany organized by Pakistan Botanical Society held in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Dir Upper, KP, Pakistan).

5: Deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions from fuelwood burning by tobacco curing industry in Pakistan (Orally presented in the 5th International Conference on Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change organized jointly by Faculty of Agriculture, The University of Poonch Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir-Pakistan, PAS Forum and HEC).

  • Currently teaching as a Lecturer at the Department of Forestry and Wildlife Management, University of Haripur from 3rd September, 2013 to till date.¬†

Previously, I worked as a Research Associate in joint Research Project of Pakistan Tobacco Company and Qauid-i-Azam University, Islamabad for one year from 4th Feburary 2012 to 4th Feburary 2013. I worked in this project as a carbon footprints estimation analyst, project planning and development officer, GIS and RS professional trainer and GIS Lab instructor in the Department of Environmental Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad.

Quaid-i-Azam University M.Phil Merit Fellowship for 4 semesters (2 years).
