  1. Problem oriented Agricultural research on abiotic stress tolerance (Drought, Heat, Salinity) in Wheat, Rice, Maize, Canola, Mungbean etc.
  2. Water Stress mitigation through use of Bioregulators, Phytohormones (Salicylic acid, ABA, BAP etc.) and devise site specific crop management strategies to minimize yield losses due to  water stress, salinity and heat in selected crops.
  3. Low input Agriculture (Identification of characters responsible for better P uptake and utilization efficiency in selected crops).

Presented a poster paper entitled “ Salicylic acid induced physiological and biochemical changes in wheat under water stress conditions” in an International conference of Plants Scientists held at University Of Agriculture, Faisalabad, 21-24 April, 2008.

2. Presented a research paper entitled “Abscisic acid and Salicylic acid as potent inducer of drought tolerance in wheat” in an International conference of Plant scientists on organized by Pakistan Botanical Society;, G.C college university, Lahore 12-14, Feb, 2011 at G.C college University, Lahore, Pakistan.

3. Presented a research paper entitled “Oil yield, fatty acid profile, seed yield and yield attributes of sunflower as influenced by autumn planting conditions in Islamabad.” in a 12th National and 3rd international conference of Botany held at Quaid-e-Azam Univ. Islamabad, Sept.1-3, 2012.

4. Presented a research paper entitled “Exogenously applied phytohormones induced sink strength, stem reserve translocation, yield and yield components in Rice (Oryza sativa L.) under water stress conditions ” in an International conference “Crop Management in changing climate” organized by Department of Agronomy, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad February 11-13, 2013.

5.
